The whole thing felt like a fever dream but it was very entertaining. I have no idea what I thought it was going to be about, but it wasn’t what I got – my own fault for not actually reading the synopsis and basing my want to read this graphic novel on the cover. Giant Days has been on my radar for a while now and I’ve finally got around to reading it. Going off to university is always a time of change and growth, but for Esther, Susan, and Daisy, things are about to get a little weird. But in the face of handwringing boys, “personal experimentation,” influenza, mystery-mold, nu-chauvinism, and the willful, unwanted intrusion of “academia,” they may be lucky just to make it to spring alive. Now, away from home for the first time, all three want to reinvent themselves. Susan, Esther, and Daisy started at university three weeks ago and became fast friends. ![]()
